SIZING THE AIR COMPRESSOR AND POWER CORD

To operate one or two Nail Kickers, an air compressor should be selected that has at least a 15 gallon tank capacity and a 4 to 5 horsepower motor for a recharge rate of 9-12 CFM (cubic feet per minute). That should be adequate to keep the tank at its working pressure (90-125 psi) without the compressor running full time. Power cords should be heavy gauge, industrial quality to avoid damaging the motor.
